A practice shaped by place, built for the long horizon.

Havenstone Capital began as a small team of builders and investors who believed that residential development could be both financially disciplined and architecturally meaningful. From a single project in East Vancouver, we set out to do work we would feel proud of decades later.

What’s grown from that beginning is a practice now spanning custom homes, multiplex developments, mixed-use buildings, and rental portfolios across the Lower Mainland. Each project, regardless of scale, is approached with the same principles: rigorous feasibility, integrated delivery, and a refusal to compromise on the details that quietly define a building’s life.

Our work is measured not in square footage, but in the quiet confidence of a doorway, the way morning light meets a kitchen counter, and the long life a building shares with the city around it. We design for the people who will live in our spaces, and for the neighbourhoods that will hold them.

Today, Havenstone is privately held and intentionally lean. We work closely with a curated group of partners, investors, architects, and trades who share our commitment to long-term thinking. Our reputation rests on what we deliver, not what we promise.

1995

Founded in East Vancouver

Havenstone is established with a single custom home project and a commitment to disciplined, owner-led development.

2003

First Multiplex Development

Expansion into multi-unit residential with a four-plex in Kitsilano — establishing the template for our integrated delivery model.

2011

Property Management Practice Launched

In-house property management is added so that we can hold and operate the buildings we develop with the same standard of care.

2018

Mixed-Use Portfolio Begins

First ground-floor retail with residential above — a deliberate move to support neighbourhood vitality alongside housing supply.

2026

$2B in Assets Developed

Crossing the $2B threshold across more than 150 completed projects — and still operating with the same deliberate, owner-led approach we started with.
